You go looking for his eyes, but they are not the same, the baby blue is gone, replaced with a darker green, but that’s not everything, because the love is gone too, along with the recognition,

The familiarity isn’t there, and you find yourself with the cruel reminder that it isn’t him, that loving boy has been long dead, and in its place now stands a man full of hate, you grieve him once again.
