First Date with Harry would include...

Requested by anon: could you do something where harry takes reader out on a date? you can take up the rest from there :)

A/N: I did it as headcanons instead, hope you don’t mind. Xxx

him probably surprising you by taking you someplace you’d never expect from him

you would think he is one for fancy restaurants with foreign dishes that cost more than you would ever spend on food 

yet here he is taking you to that small Italian place that’s just around the corner from his place

it’s nothing fancy or big but it’s cozy and it serves some of the best Italian food ever

him being the biggest gentleman by opening doors for you or even holding out your chair for you to sit

spending the entire night having long conversations about everything you could possibly imagine

you would learn more about Harry in a night than you have learned during your entire time working with him

Harry not being able to take his eyes off you the entire night

his gaze scanning every single little detail about you; your eyes and how they glisten in the low candlelight, the way your hands move along every time you get passionate about the subject at hand

and your lips

God he would want to kiss you so badly, to taste your lips like he has longed for since the first time he saw you

he would only pluck up the courage after he walked you home from the restaurant 

‘May I kiss you?“

 his tone would be smooth as ever, barely hiding his nervousness

and when it finally happened, it would be everything you expect it to be

slow and gentle; as if he’s testing the waters at first but soon enough the passion that’s overwhelmed him for so long is poured into the kiss

when you part, you’re both breathless and grinning madly as he rests his forehead against yours

and no words are needed but you both know this is the beginning of something beautiful
