mama’s boy

Felix x reader

you and felix had just gotten home from your long day at the amusement park. you two left early in the day to get to the park once they opened and to beat traffic. you two spent more time than you thought you had getting on rides and just having a good time. unpin getting home you and felix both crashed on your shared bed.

“come on lixie, we need to shower and get cleaned up.” you tried to convince him to get up with you even thought you wanted more than anything just to lay back down with him and call it a night.

“mm- too tired mama.”

oh shit. oh shit. oh shit. to say you were surprised would be an understatement. felix had never called you mommy or anything like it before. you could tell that he also realized what he called you by the widening of his eyes and the falling of his jaw.

quickly he jumped out of bed and ran into the attached bathroom, of course locking the door behind him.

you, yourself needed some time to process this whole thing. walking into the kitchen you grab bottle of water out of the fridge before opening it and drinking half in one sitting.

it had been about five minutes before you decided that you needed to talk to felix about what happened. making your way back into your room, you slowly knock on the bathroom door.

“go away.” you hear felix quietly sobbing on the other side of the door and the sound broke your heart into pieces. the thought of your baby crying because of you makes you want to cry yourself.

“lixie please let me in, i’m not mad i promise. i just want to talk to you.” you heard the lock on the door click before you saw felix peek out from behind the bathroom door. he looked so broken and your heart was still heavy at the sight.

felix had tears running down his cheeks, which were flushed, he was still lightly sobbing and he seemed to be quite unsteady. he looked up at you, eyes still filled with tears before lifting his arms up at you in hopes of a hug.

once you realized what he wanted you quickly grabbed him before pulling him into a hug. you could still feel his heavy breathing and his tears were still falling, now staining your shirt.

“lixie baby we need to talk about this,” you could feel him tense up at your words to which you quickly started to rub his back in soothing circles. you could tell that this was still affecting him negatively so you waited a couple minutes until you could tell he calmed down.

he finally looked back up at you before finally nodding while clearing his throat to speak.

“i-i didn’t mean to call you that. i’m sorry if i made you mad, i was just so tired and i guess it just slipped out, and i-i’m just so sor-” you cut his rambling off with a quick kiss. you knew it would be the only way to get him to stop talking.

“felix baby, i promise im not mad at you, a little surprised yeah but i could never be mad at you, and i could never hate you so you can go ahead and get that thought out of your pretty little head. i just want you to explain where this came from and why you called me that, take all the time you need my love.” you reassured.

felix took a deep breath before explaining everything that was going on and how much you reminded him of a mother and how the name just naturally spilled out of his mouth. you could see his eyes beginning to water again so you quickly pulled him back into a hug to let him calm down before he finished explaining.

you couldn’t believe that he thought you were going to hate him but you made sure that he knew that you were one hundred percent sure with him calling you that.

“see baby there was nothing to be afraid about, i told you when we first got together that i would love you unconditionally no matter the circumstances and that hasn’t changed one bit. please don’t hide things like that anymore my love.” felix nodded at your words before you both layed down in the bed to finally try and get some sleep.

“goodnight my prince. i love you”

“goodnight mama, i love you too.”

and you both fell asleep with smiles on your faces and love in your hearts.
