Pat clapped his hands enthusiastically, eyes shining with joy. He readjusted his glasses to see better the sign above this restaurant in Paris, that you “stumbled” on on your online-trip on your laptop.
“Ohh, it looks good, isn’t it? Can we go inside?” You hated to disappoint him, but this particular place had photos only from the outside.
“Nah, sorry, love. But let’s try this one, on the other side of the road. It looks nice, shall we?” You raised your hand in an inviting gesture, he giggled gleefully and pretended to take it.
“Oh, we definitely shall!”
