Wanted to make Future Primal Dialga a bit different than the Primal Dialga I did on my last drawing
(Darker color scheme with his skin, more vicious looking/corrupted and more spikes everywhere) to show off how much he's been lost to his Primal Rage since the destruction of Temporal Tower
(((Since Bulbapedia totally made Dialga's Primal form sound like some sort of corruption)) Not to mention the whole self-preservation thing happening after the Tower is completely destroyed, due to Time's collapse and it reminded me of how Dialga's literal life seems to be connected to Time
*In the Pokedex entries it talks about how Time started the moment Dialga's heart started to beat. So that got me thinking maybe his Primal form literally WAS some sort of corruption, because Dialga felt like his life was in danger due to losing his control over Time, and Time freezing everywhere
And it also kinda just seems as if the Future version has been in that state for maybe even several years before Grovyle and the Player go back in time to fix things and stuff soooooo yeah
I went full force on this idea and decided to have some fun doing a sorta redesign of Future Primal Dialga where he looks way more vicious and corrupted and kinda just... wrong in general than what Dialga is supposed to look like
(ESPECIALLY with his teeth- like, Dialgas only supposed to have his two little fangies on the bottom QwQ and I kinda hate what I did to it but love at the same time???) And ye- I tried to give more emphasis which are his actual fangs by making them way bigger than his other fangs *So much so they stick out when Dialga closes his mouth*
And- idk. I had fun making this but BOY was it a pain in the ass to color :'D
Also Diamond cracks all over the thingy keeping it embedded on Dialga's body because to show how much Primal power Dialga's been using that it started damaging the thing around the Diamond
So now it kinda looks as if his Diamond is either crying or even bleeding-

here's a comic, felt like writing it in spanish just cause (translation below read more)
in the context of the fics im writing, there is no one human world. Each human hero actually came from different worlds (although Dewott doesn't know there are other humans or human worlds yet). In Dewott's human world, it's taboo to express any emotions. People hide their emotions so deep within, that they often forget how to feel.
During the events of Gates to Infinity, only Dewott was able to reach the Bittercold, NOT because he's a human, but because he had no idea what negative emotions felt like.
With the entire world's collective hope for the future, he was able to defeat it. And for the first time, he too felt hope.
When he was forced to go back to his world, he learned despair.

do you know why Hydreigon wanted to kidnap so many humans from my world?
It's because the Winds of Despair don't affect them, right?
and why is that?
...I don't know.

emotions are useless. feelings slow you down. one has to forget how to feel.
you must not smile. you must not cry. you must not get angry.
that is how my world is.
if someone asks you how you're doing, you're always fine.
And if you're not?

I think GTI is by far the darkest game in the serious because wtf was this scene??
so I saw @earthykinous' Cubone hero and I have been converted; their way of drawing cubone eyes is so peak

I need a rustic map of the PMD world, and the easier way to go about this would just be to slap a bunch of different filters and/or overlays on an existing map to make it look like parchment.
...or I could spend 4 hours re-drawing it and throwing in extraneous details. HM.

When the player left the pmd world, everyone was supposed to forget they even existed. That's how human departures from the pmd world seem to work, at least with how Hydreigon explained it. Everyone in Paradise remembering is an exception.
So:
The previous humans probably made companions before they died, companions who can't even remember them.
is the memory wiping thing only a PMD World → Human World thing? CAUSE IF NOT, those humans' friends and families ALSO would've forgotten about them when they disappeared (maybe until they came back dead? Maybe their memories would come back?)
What happens to the evidence of their existence? (e.g. photos, literally anything they themselves made, etc.) Does it stay? Do people just wake up one day and find that their nightstand has a framed photo of them with some kid that resembles them that they've never seen in their life?
What about when that human inevitably comes back dead? If they never get their memories back, how would they feel if that person who suddenly showed up in their photos was right in front of them, crushed to death? And if they do get their memories back, that's heartbreaking. A dead person shows up, and you suddenly remember the time you spent with them, and the time you spent mourning their loss all at once.

so like, it's explicitly stated that the protagonist wasn't the only human brought to the PMD world by Hydreigon. There were others. Countless humans who were "defeated" by Kyurem and "sent back to the human world."
Given how Kyurem was beating the absolute shit out of the protagonist, only sparing their life because the partner stepped in...
I think it's more than safe to assume Kyurem killed those humans.
Those yellow lights floating in the sky are dead bodies. Dead bodies being sent back to the human world.
Countless people in the human world have disappeared, only to later turn up dead, and you were about to become the next victim. And if Kyurem did finish you off? There would be even more victims.
Countless people from the human world were killed, it wouldn't be too surprising if those deaths made international news. A person disappears, and some time later, they come back stomped to death.
Imagine the protagonist goes back to the human world to snack on some ice cream or something, and while scrolling through their phone, they find some people talking about it online.
How horrifying must it feel to know that you were just one step (sorry) away from facing the same fate? I wouldn't be surprised if the protagonist had nightmares of Kyurem beating the shit out of them every night.
But it's not just Kyurem's fault. Hydreigon kept bringing more and more humans to die. Sacrificing who-knows-how-many people from a completely different world just to try to save his own. Honestly surprised the protagonist doesn't have any hatred towards him (or maybe they're really good at hiding it).

when picking the team name in pmd gates to infinity, i noticed that the partner automatically put "the" at the beginning. so i knew what i had to do.
