i don't know how to paint

I've found a heart shaped canvas and i knew what i had to do...

I did a test on digital so it would be easier for me to focus on learning to paint with acrylics as i only ever did like two small things...and i thought i could add that to the shop!

My therapist suggested I try out some hobbies, and got me a canvas, paint, and brushes. Safe to say I am invested 🤭 Like, I’ve been working on this for two days straight… I don’t even have this much dedication to my digital art on my iPad 💀

Star Wars Art

While not the biggest Star Wars fan, I would still love to show y'all some pieces I made for Star Wars Day on DeviantArt for both May The 4th this year and last year.

'I've decided to do something a little different in honor of Star Wars Day. The Landspeeder a form of personnel transportation most commonly found on Tatooine. I made this little beauty out of cardboard, construction paper and cut up a plastic bottle for the windshield.

Although it doesn't look like exactly the one from the movie I'm sure someone in the Star Wars Universe owns one like this.'

As a fan of both Homer Simpson and Jack Kirby, I decided to make an Acrylic painting of his Super Hero alter ego Pie Man; In the Kirby's style in honor of the 106th anniversary of his birth August 28th 1917, I don't know if I succeed but it was fun to paint.

Help With Acrylics?

Hello! I have some very cheap acrylics that are very thin and transparent, and I was wondering if anyone had a solution to thicken them up and make them more opaque? Thank you!

A Soldier’s Memento My final project for acrylic painting is done! The theme is landscape with a complementary or monochromatic colour scheme, so I stole a bunch of my father’s old army photos and used them to create this, along with a few modifications to make it look more original. I’m quite proud of this!

It’s time for a new year, 2018. Let’s go.
