Yo. I return with pt. 2 of my cosplay shenanigans. Of any of y’all would like the patterns or instructions in more detail, feel free to put in an ask. c:
Step one: Mr. Compress mask.
Print pattern, cut two, assemble with tape and hot glue. Paper mache both sides and let dry.
Step two: Toga gear
Crochet scarf base, make cardboard boxes for the belt/thigh things, cut off tops of mini soda cans with a can opener, tape seran wrap to the top of said soda cans. (I plan on paper macheing the cans too to make them sturdier)
Step three: Mr Compress vest
I had to altar my vest pattern for this one, so it turned out a little wonky. I still gotta add buttons and hem a couple of the edges, but otherwise we’re chillin (I swear to god it looks better on a mannequin)
Hello. Felt like posting something. Here's some in progress art.
Specifically, this is my d&d character from a campaign I'm currently in. Ish. This technically isn't the actual character, it's just their go-to humanoid form but their actual form if really fucking complicated and I don't want to bother drawing it yet(perks of being a literal sea monster). Will happily rant more about the character/campaign to anyone who asks but ye.
Might not finish because hair always fucks with me but hey, it's something.

writing prompts dialogue - (romantic angst/sad romance) “I would give my life to keep you safe.” “Aren't we in a good mood today?” “Oh, I get it. You're trying to weasel your way out of having to practice.” “I screwed up. I know.” “I did a pregnancy test.” “The way you flirt is shameful.” “I’m ready to try again, if you are...?” “I’ll find her and bring her home, I promise.” “Try focusing on your life more than mine.” “You’re still single? Its been more than a year.” “I don’t like your new shampoo.” actions - Person A tries getting Person B out of bed and knows the only way they will is by hugging them. They haven’t been together in months now, sometimes things occur and they hang out and usually crash at each others places. Person A gets into bed beside Person B and hugs them, but ends up falling asleep too. All their friends are round and its awkward for Person A and B to see each other again but as the night goes on they all loosen up by playing games and drinking whiskey. About two in the morning they decided to watch a movie. Person B’s best friend is laid out on the sofa and they are sitting near each other, but Person A is also on the sofa and when everyone starts getting tired Person A instinctively out of habit lays their head on Person B’s lap and Person B does nothing to correct them or stop them and just tangles their fingers into Person A’s hair.

author’s note: I wanted to get out this next part out as a holiday gift for all you amazing people who have been so encouraging about this series. I honestly can’t tell you how much your comments mean to me and how much pride and joy I feel at every little like or reblog or interaction with this fic series. At the start of 2020 I told myself this would be the year I finally wrote something that got to 50k words. I am proud to say with this installment Starlight is currently at 68k words, surpassing my goal. Hell, maybe it’s taken me an entire year to write it, but still, I did it! Now my next goal for 2021? Actually finish a story for once - this story. I have the outline planned and I can’t begin to explain to all of you how much your support and encouragement keeps me going to get the rest of this story out there. Anyways! Long note out of the way, I just want to sincerely thank you guys for your support of this fic series. It really means the world to me. Oh also - yeah… things are about to get VERY messy in this fic.

I finally had a chance to sit down and read all the parts you’ve published and oh my goooooood I love it! There’s so much fluff but still depth to the characters and the story. And it feels like a hallmark movie but, like, good? AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH OH MY GOD. The fucking joy at seeing you posted this, I can’t even describe. And it’s just as amazing as the last one. I’m a bit more of an Adam fan (strong and silent types are a weakness) but damn Matt is really winning me over. A little less so at the end there, but still. The time he spent helping Hazel was fucking adorable and sweet and just ugh. I had a suspicion Adam would be the new owner, but let me tell you. The noise that came out of me when he called her Hazel I can’t even begin to describe except it was excitement and joy and surprise and all the other positive emotions you can think of. Your writing is still so beautiful and the rodeo jargon is still so good and I have to be up for work in like 4 hours (ironically I think I’ll be working with some horses today too) or I would reread both parts of this again. Good fucking lord, this is amazing. I don’t know how you did it, but you did. I’ve not read a rodeo au of anything, much less wrestling, and holy hell you knocked it out of the park and into the next county. You wrote the whole thing so damn well, I just...
