I was watching Wicked with my mom and during the “pink goes good with green” scene I went haha they’re pink and green like Lars and Sadie. Then, because I’m an idiot, I made this. Not much to say except it’s basically Wicked but with Steven Universe characters 😅 I call it my Green Goes Good with Pink AU!

Disclaimer: don’t get me wrong, I love Gelphie, but for simplicity reasons I have cut basically all romance from the AU. Lars and Sadie are just friends. I also feel bad making Padparadscha a villain so she’s no longer the wicked witch of the east. Plus her name has been changed to Padma!

Outfit change obvi. Same as canon, Steven throws a ball in an attempt to get White’s attention. Lars, being high-ranked in Yellow’s court, has a special military captain-esk uniform that he wears to any formal occasion. AKCKSHDODHDIDJSHD I LOVE IT SO MUCH

Lars being the one to teach Steven swear words just feels right, and he would definitely swear even more often in my AU

I said I would eventually post my Lars-centered Steven Universe AUs and I will not disappoint

I may have said this before but whenever I like a character I tend to pour a bunch of extra trauma on them as a way of showing affection 🤷 I have a weird obsession with Lars so… this happened

This AU doesn’t really have an official name, I just call it my Villain Lars AU. Pretty self-explanatory 😅 I think this one is my all-time FAVORITE that I’ve created!

The base of this AU is basically “what if Steven’s revival powers didn’t work immediately? What if they took a couple hours or even a couple days?” The Diamonds discover Lars’s body, he comes back to life inside the palace, Yellow takes interest in him. Some stuff happens and… villain Lars 😈 White tried to mind-control him, but it didn’t work since he’s not a Gem, but she can very much influence his thoughts and actions.

I convinced one of the girls in my summer camp to watch Steven Universe, and even though she’s only seen the first episode, she told me that Lars is her favorite. I’m so proud of her 😭

Lars hates it so much, but Lion tends to hold onto him the longest
