I've done many papers on Lithuania and am intending to go to graduate school to focus my study on it so the first thing i think of when i think of Lithuania is “history” seconded by “resistance” because that's what my research has been fun fact! they had the biggest book smuggling ring in history in order to protect their language when Russia banned it many people willing to risk their lives for books because of how important preserving their language and national identity was the hill of crosses was also a resistance effort but that's a different story
