eng: Last month I read "Howl's Moving Castle". I'm a big fan of the animated film from Ghibli, and I also appreciated the original. Impressed, I decided to illustrate the characters exactly according to the book version. On the scan, the left sketch is the scene where Howl retrieves the skull from the washbasin. And thus he reminded me of Hamlet. He also called the skull Yorik! I`m inspired!!! The page on the right is like a collage of characters and moments that I remembered from the book.
укр: Минулого місяця читала "Мандрівний замок Хаула". Я велика фанатка мульфільму від Гіблі, а ще й зацінила оригінал. Під враженням вирішила проілюструвати персонажів саме за книжковою версією. На скані лівий скетч - це сцена, де Хаул дістає з раковими череп. І тим самим він мені нагадав Гамлета. Ще й назвав череп Йориком! Ну!!! Сторінка справа - по типу колажу з персонажів та моментім, які мені згадувались.
