Finding out that I'm more Ukrainian and Belarusian then the culture I associate myself with and grew up around was not on my 2024 bingo card.
As the pride month comes to an end today...
I just want to say that the world is so much colorful with you in it. All the members of the LGBTQIA+ community have gone through so much and they have emerged scathed but victorious however small it maybe. I want to give so much love and blessings to all the closeted members as well. You will make it through.
I also want to give a shout-out to all South East Asians too. In a culture that is so rigid and doesn't accept change at all, you have managed to survive and make a mark. There is still a lot I don't understand about the LGBTQIA+ community, maybe because I don't have that kind of personal exposure to it. But I respect all of you and what you stand for. And I am here for you. Always.
