Dive Deep into Creativity: Your Ultimate Tumblr Experience Awaits
Went to an art expo in my town today <3
This is everything I got, close up pics are underneath:
I needed to find a relatively inexpensive horticulturaly adjacent activity for little kids. It needs to go alongside a plant sale, face painting and other horticulture and animal care related activities that will be taking place at an open day at work. So after dinner I cracked out my art supplies and had a bit of a play about.
I was trying to do some pastel rubbings, of bark and leaves, but then I whacked out my printmaking bits and bobs to see what they looked like when printed and I decided to go with that. I've since looked online and there are some beautiful examples of leaves being used in printmaking.
If you're doing it with little kiddy-winks then I would suggest using sturdy leaves that aren't too waxy. Really young, tender leaves will work but they tear easily and they get a bit floppy. You can apply ink with a roller to the top or bottom surface off the leaf though the bottom side usually gives better impressions of the veins. Once your leaf (or leaves) are inked up, place them on a scrap piece of paper (inked side up) and then put a piece of paper over the top. You then want to rub the back of the paper with a spoon or barren until the ink has transferred. Then you can peel away the paper and put it somewhere to dry.
FINALLY done with this print of mermaid Kokomi, gosh did this take me a while, the water gave me trouble and it took a while to decide how exactly I wanted the scales to look but she turned out well I think!
She is going to be a print on my Etsy alongside the already listed acrylic keychains that match!

Hello! I'm so proud to finally present you the artwork with all the Perissodactyla order including its subspecies (Rhinos, Tapirs, and Horses). Took me more than a year to finish but I am really happy with the result. The artwork includes the common name, its Latin name, and its conservation status. 46 animals in total of which 10 are sadly already extinct.

Hello! I just wanted to share some past projects I did in school that I never got around to posting! I will also show the original sketches if I still have them!
Project 1: Miles
Class: Plate Lithography
For the first project I drew my OC Miles! She is actually a pretty old OC that I had for a long time. In this project, I redesigned her to what she looks like today! I remember being so satisfied with her redesign because I put a lot of thought into it. I didn’t like her previous design because it was very bland and generic. Unfortunately, I don’t have any images of her original design because I only drew her once on a flipnote on my brother’s DSi and the file became corrupted and deleted itself (along with all the other flipnotes I made on it).
Overall, I’m still really happy with how this project turned out! 🥰
